The Romans Road:
For those who have sat under the false teachings concerning salvation found in the message of William Branham, it can be difficult to wrap our minds around the simplicity of the plan of redemption revealed in Scripture alone. When salvation is about doing the right things, belonging to the "right" group of people, and following the right human leader (aka: William Branham) the Truth is often distorted, and coming back to the basics can be a huge challenge.
The Romans Road is a series of verses from the book of Romans that outline the plan of salvation and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is something easy to remember and therefore easy to share, and encompasses a vast number of concepts--from the need for salvation for all mankind, to the free gift of Christ provided for all, to the peace and assurance that accompanies believers in Christ.
Romans 3:23: For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 5:8: But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9: That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.
Romans 10:13: For everyone that calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved!
Romans 5:1: Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 8:1: Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:38-39: For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
