Let’s talk about a father’s love.  Let’s use your children as an example, children who were raised and taught in your Christian home, and were instructed the very best you knew how.  The older the child grew, the stronger your bond became, but something was happening that you could not help notice.  Something different than you were prepared for was happening to your child.

While your child’s body was maturing into adolescence, your child’s mind was constantly focusing on death.

You loved your child dearly, and did not understand what was happening in the chemicals within their brain.  You knew that it was not normal to focus on death, and tried to turn their thoughts and conversations back on things that were more pleasant, like sports or hobbies.  But each time you tried, it did not take very long before their mind focused back on death.

You were frantic.  This was your child!  This was the flesh of your flesh and bone of your bones.  Was he suicidal?  Was he a killer?  Would he grow up to be imprisoned for murder?  He’s shown none of these tendencies, yet for some reason, he dwelled on the thought of death.

The child had normal friends, normal interests, normal entertainment, laughed and played as though nothing was wrong, but you stood in the doorway to his room watching as he and his friends were enjoying each other’s company.  You watched, as your child constantly would bring up death in their conversations.

You would never abandon your child.  You loved him dearly, and you wanted to do everything you could possibly do to help him.  You started pretending you were not abhorred by his conversation so that you could talk to him about it, but the more you tried, the more afraid you became.

It was not in human nature to talk about death.

Taking things far into the future, you spend your life loving, enjoying your son’s companionship, and you have a wonderful father-and-son relationship.  He is still your son, and you love him dearly.

But even in the future, you watch as his thoughts focus on death.  At this point, you have accepted it, and you realize that he can’t help whatever change happened in his brain chemistry.  It wasn’t his fault.  Deep inside your heart, you knew that God never intended him to be this way, and time has made you realize that while he focuses on death, he is your son.  He is a friend to many, and has the Christian upbringing that you gave him.  You wish things were different, but you realize that the problem was much larger than human hands could fix.

You finally do what you should have done at an early age, and you turn it over to God.

Most of you, if placed in this situation, would love this child.  You would never turn him out in the streets, never abandon him.  Most cult churches would never ex-communicate the child for his issues, and the pastors would show as much support as they possibly could.  They would pray that God would intercede on your behalf, and that the child would be healed.

Yet, at the same time, most cult churches are doing exactly what we see in this example – and don’t even know it.  Families do this in their conversations, and do not even know it.  They are abandoning children who have focused on death.

Homosexuality is a topic that is not scripturally taught in most cult churches.  Quite frankly, it is not scripturally taught in many mainstream churches either, because spiritual growth is limited with hardened hearts.

Instead, homophobia is the topic that is spread into the churches.  Bible examples show one side of the story without showing the Grace and Mercy that Jesus describes.

The cult churches focus on the “death,” but they avoid the New Life that the child could enjoy by accepting Christ.  Worse, some homosexuals have accepted Christ, but are not given the tools to change their lives because of homophobic pastors and elders in the churches.

When I first made my stand for Truth, and exposed the lies of the false prophet, the first character assassination I received came from a family member who is an elder in a church, and they spread rumor that I was a homosexual.

But even though they were a family member, and should have shown the same love that the father in this example gave to his child, they also spread the fear of homosexuality.  They spread homophobia.  If their lives had been molded by Christ – and not Branham – they would have offered me love and support.  They would have tried to offer me the tools to find repentance, and would have given it to me with love.

Fortunately, I am not homosexual.  In fact, if there was an EXACT OPPOSITE in the dictionary, it would probably say, “SEE JOHN.”

But one thing has changed in my life, something I am very ashamed for in my past.  I am no longer homophobic, and I realize that there are brothers and sisters, friends and family, HUMAN BEINGS that need God to help them through certain problems that they are not able to conquer by themselves.

It has been studied by science that there are certain hormones, chemicals in the brain that control our nature.  One of those hormones, when taken away, causes homosexuality.  In experiments, taking this hormone out of their brain chemistry causes animals to fiercely mate other males in their species – even when surrounded by females in the species.  It is against animal nature, except when the animal faces the same situation with brain chemistry or when the animal has no alternative.  But we aren’t animals.

Scripturally, homosexuality is a sin.  But so is gluttony!  It is ironic that the family member who spread the rumor could fill the clothes of about seven solid men, yet would rather condemn the spec in his brother’s eye.

Homosexuality is also a worse sin than some others.  While some falsely teach that no sin is greater than another, Paul tells otherwise.  Sexual sin happens outside the body, and Paul makes it clear that sexual sin is very damaging to the Bride of Christ.

The common argument by half-truth non-cult pastors who support homosexuality is that those laws were in the Old Testament, and we live under the New Covenant of Grace.  But they are not being entirely truthful with you.

To the Romans, Paul says this:

Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
– Romans 1:26-27

Then again to the Corinthians:

Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
– 1st Corinthians 6:9-10

I stressed the phrase “homosexual offenders,” but WHAT IF I instead stressed the word “greedy?”  How many pastors would fall into that same category?  How many receive the tithes and do not give it to the poor as is described in the Mosaic Law they try to uplift?  It is only because of greed that they do not keep the entire instruction given by God to Moses.   And that is just one of the other points listed.  What about “slanderers” and “swindlers?”  The family member I just described was guilty of slander, a crime even guilty in the court system of the United States Government.

Cult Pastors know the story of Sodom, and taking an imbalanced sermon, they drive the point into the ground to cause homophobia.  The men and children of the city asked Lot, “Where are the angels so that we may have sex with them,” but this was only PART of the reason that Sodom was obliterated.

Leviticus 18:22 says, Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

In worship of Asherah (the “Breasted God”), male temple prostitutes performed homosexual acts to bring the temples into states of sexual utopia.  Other than Sodom, the Bible often speaks against homosexuality because it was attributed to worship of the Baals.

They preach it over and over and over, as though they think that we don’t understand that simple concept.  All the while, they do not understand the greater concept!

Ezekiel 16 is one of my favorite chapters in the Bible.  Not only does it show that God’s Bride was wearing earrings, and directly contradicts Branham’s Freemason doctrine that the Catholic Church is the “great whore,” it also shows God’s faithfulness to each and every one of his children.

God’s bride constantly turned towards death in this passage of scripture.  But like the father in our example, God was a loving God, forgiving, and showed compassion.  God’s bride went whoring after other gods, and Yahweh said that his bride had become such a great whore that there would never again be another whore like her!  Yet he was forgiving to her many sins!

And the scriptures plainly state that even Sodom would have been forgiven if the city only had helped the poor and needy.  God does not say, “I obliterated them because of those gay guys!”

Pastors who preach that Sodom was condemned for their homosexuality, and yet leave out the rest of the story are hiding their own guilt.  If you examine their lives, you will quickly find that the sins that pushed God to destroy the city are present in their actions:

Behold, this was the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had pride, excess of food, and prosperous ease, but did not aid the poor and needy. They were haughty and did an abomination before me.  So I removed them, when I saw it.  Samaria has not committed half your sins. You have committed more abominations than they, and have made your sisters appear righteous by all the abominations that you have committed.  Bear your disgrace, you also, for you have intervened on behalf of your sisters. Because of your sins in which you acted more abominably than they, they are more in the right than you. So be ashamed, you also, and bear your disgrace, for you have made your sisters appear righteous.

Take the example we recently gave about Voice of God Recordings during the hurricane that devastated Henryville, IN.  How that they were very loving and generous to “the bride” – those who sent in their money – and were very condemning to the other Christians who lost homes, lives, and lifelong possessions.  Their web page proudly announced, “Not a single one of God’s children was harmed,” while God’s children in other churches lost property, limbs, and lives!

If Isaiah is telling us the truth, then the sins of Voice of God Recordings is actually worse than homosexuality!  If Isaiah’s words come directly from God, then the actions of Voice of God Recordings actually make the homosexual community look righteous!

I often use Gene Goad and Leo Mercer as examples for shock value.  Most cult churches are abhorred in knowing that two homosexual guys were responsible for the multi-million dollar industry of tape recordings that they feast upon.  Lee Vayle’s testimony in a year 2000 sermon, witness testimony for those who were there, and testimony of many others outside their commune describe the two as being homosexual.

But there is one point that I must clarify.  Homosexuality is sin, scripturally.  So is gluttony.  So is pride.  So is condemnation.  As a Collins, I struggle with pride – we all do.  But I now know that it is a sin, and I try to avoid it.  I can’t always avoid it, because it is in my nature, my brain chemistry.  Therefore, I repent for my sin.  I know I will continually sin, so I do my best to avoid situations that could lead me to pride, and if I stumble, I ask God for forgiveness through the blood of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Gene and Leo tried to become repentant homosexuals, even married women.  Gene likely would have succeeded, but Leo was only repentant in public according to witness testimony.  The unrepentant sin of one man affected the lives of many.  Because of the sin of one homosexual, there is a trail of lives ruined and lives taken.

I’d like for you to take that same example I gave in the beginning, and apply our Heavenly Father to the story, replacing the earthly father.  How much more is the Father’s love for the child?  How much more does the Father cry out for the child who is trapped in sin?  How angry would the Father be to watch abusive ministers make things worse for the child?  How much wrath would God show if this were the Old Testament Days, and the New Covenant of Grace was not applied to our lives?  Would God obliterate the cult churches like He did in the days of Sodom for their prideful, selfish ways?

Every example in the Bible contradicts their false teaching on the subject, and condemns their philosophy.  Jesus showed great love, even to the woman at the well living in the filth of sexual sin.  Her case was much easier, because her body chemistry was not the root cause of her sin; her sexual sin was due to her life decisions.

Shouldn’t we be more like Christ than like William Branham?  Shouldn’t we be less condemning, less prideful, less spiteful, and more forgiving?

Would we rather live our lives like the people of Sodom?  Or would we rather live our lives like Christ?

Shouldn’t we help others who are focusing on death, and lead them to Life in Christ, instead of turning them away with condemnation and accusation?
