Jim Jones started to become famous when he held a series of services with the help of William Branham at the Cadle Tabernacle in Indianapolis, IN.


In an article in a religious magazine and the newspapers, Jones claimed that his church was “The Open Door to All Man Kind.” He began to advertise the fact that the already famous faith healer, William Marrion Branham was the guest speaker for the event, and together they would have meetings that would include a prayer line for the sick with both discernment and divine healing.
